We’ve been in touch with the U.S. State Department to learn how Schools for Humanity can help with the tragedy in Haiti. Based on the information received, we’ve decided to mobilize our organization to help the rebuilding efforts once the disaster relief activities are complete.

We plan to take on the responsibility of rebuilding a school that was destroyed in the earthquake.

We will work with local agencies to determine the details of the project. At this time, we are collecting donations to fund construction of a school. At some time in the future, we’ll be organizing a team of volunteers to travel to Haiti to help with the rebuilding efforts. We will share information on this project with you as things develop.
